Five months old!

I completely forgot that today was Ethan's five month birthday until my mom reminded me!  He is getting so big!  On friday we went to a bonfire at the neighbors house and Ethan and Tanner slept in the pack n play together.  They were so adorable and wearing matching pj's!  On Saturday Zach brewed his beer....he had a minor hops mishap, so we're hoping it will turn out ok.  Of course yesterday we celebrate a Brewer and Packer win!  Ethan celebrated being five months old by having some squash today.  I've made him both squash and sweet potatoes so far.  He hasn't eaten the sweet potatoes yet, but loves the squash.  I am really enjoying making his baby food....it is so easy with the food processor.  Hope you are all having better weather than we are, only rain in the foreseeable future for us!

Shopping with Tanner

Today Ethan went shopping with Tanner.  We went to the outlet mall to check out the Carters and Oshkosh B'Gosh outlets.  Ethan got his halloween costume, he's going to be a monkey (just for you, Kristyn)!  He also got a t-shirt and a onsie with a moose on it.  When we got home Ethan played at the park with Tanner.  I can't believe what a different baby he is now that he has been sleeping well.  And as a bonus for mom and dad, he has pretty consistently been going to bed at 6:30.  It's amazing to have the whole evening to ourselves....although about an hour or two after he goes to bed I kind of start to miss him.  Check back tomorrow for a video!

The nursery is complete!

We finally are finished with Ethan's nursery!  He really loves his crib and sleeps so well in it!  He's finally getting over his cold and back to his happy self.  He is still so frustrated that he can't crawl.  Every time we put him on his play mat he flips to his tummy and then just gets mad because he can't go anywhere!  We're going to have trouble on our hands real soon!

Sleepy baby

Last night Ethan slept through the night for the first time!  He slept from 8:30-6.  He was soaking wet when he woke up though, so we're going to have to figure out some sort of diaper situation if he continues to sleep like this!  We suspect he isn't feeling the greatest today.  He's all stuffy and his nose keeps running.  Poor baby :(  I'm not sure if he has a cold, but we think it may be the changing weather.  It went from 85 and humid to 70 in one day.  We took a super cute video of him eating yesterday, but I'm having trouble posting it.  Hopefully I can figure it out soon!

I know it's been a few days.....

So I know it has been a couple days since I last posted, sorry!  We haven't been doing anything terribly exciting, but somehow I have found myself very busy the last few days.  I'll make up for it by post lots of pictures!  Also it has been requested that we post a video of Ethan eating his cereal....we're taping it tonight, promise! On thursday Ethan had a play date with his friend Tanner.  They are the best of friends now, but the first two times that Ethan saw Tanner, he burst into tears!  It's going to be really fun to watch them play when the two of them start crawling.  It is finally nice out today so we were able to go outside and play ball with Newton.  Ethan sat in the swings at the park for the first time!  He's still a bit small though, and it's hard to have him sit in it without flopping forward :)  Zach is enjoying all the sports on TV today.  Hope everyone will be cheering on the Brewers and the Badgers today!
